Interested in setting up a WeoGeo Library? Signing up for an account is easy!
This page will walk you through the steps you will encounter during the process.
First, navigate yourself to the WeoGeo Library Signup Page. A preview of which is below.
On this page, you need to select the account tier you are interested in signing up for. Select a tier by clicking the button describing the tier. Not sure which tier to select? Don't worry you can always alter your account selection later through the Administration Account Information Page.
Once you selected the tier you want to sign up for, you will be directed to the sign up form. A preview of which is below (divided into parts).
WeoGeo Library is currently in private beta. You will need to contact us to request an invitation code.
The organization name is use to describe your Library. It will be displayed in the Library's page title seen at the top of your browser window.
You will access the Library via your personalized subdomain. This must be unique. If you happen to select a subdomain that is already in use, you will be notified when you attempt to submit the signup form.
Do you already have a WeoGeo Market account? If so, welcome back. You can combine your existing account with this new account. Just enter the login and password of that account to create one universal account.
If you are a new user, you must fill out the full contact info.
Finally, you will need to fill out the billing info.
A preview of the Thank You page you are directed to upon submitting your application is below.
This tells the new user, John Doe, that he should check his email to confirm his email address and activate his account.
But what if you are not a new user? Well, you can start using your Library right away. Your thank you page will give you a direct link to your Library.
Below, is a preview of what a typical "Account Signup" email looks like.
This email is both a receipt and verification of your email address. Because John Doe is a new user to WeoGeo, in order to access his library at mylibrary.weogeo.com he must first click the top link within the email.
That will take him to his account and he will see a message like the one in the preview below.
The sign up process is now complete. John may start using his Library now. Because his Library is new, he need to load up data to it. To find out how, click here.
John did not have a Market account before he signed up for his Library account. However, all user with out a Market account automatically have an account created for them during this process. John is not obligated to use this account, however it is accessible to use if he so chooses. Below is the email generated, welcoming John to the WeoGeo Market.
