A typical Download from a WeoGeo Library or the WeoGeo Market comprises of 5 parts: Data, Read Me, License, Weo File, and Support Materials.
Data
Data files name uses job token basename plus data type specific extension convention. Also, some data types will have required support files, such as a header file. The extension depends on the type of data requested.
If a data set is larger than 2GB uncompressed, it is broken up into pieces. If you are using WeoApp, reconstituting these requests are handled for you. If you are using the Web download feature you will need to examine the Multipart Downloads documentation for additional information on these type of requests.
Data files come with a corresponding MD5 hash so you can check the integrity of the data you downloaded. (Note: WeoApp checks the MD5 hash for you automatically if you chose this method of download.)
Read Me
The Read Me provides some information about the specifics of job that was requested.
License
If your request was on the WeoGeo Market you will receive a copy of the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to when registering for the website.
If your request was on a Library system, you may or may not be supplied a license that corresponds to the data you downloaded.
Weo File
WeoFile is the communication file by which WeoGeo communicates about your data. You are sent a copy of this file with your request to facilitate future uploads of derivative products based upon this download.
Support Materials
The original provider is given the option of appending additional information about the data set to be delivered with all requests. And thus, you may or may not have any additional info included.
